| Roma VF tomato plant growing indoors. From 1 small seed I received 8 ball size fruits. Little water, a grocery bag full of soil, uncooked vegetable cuttings, used coffee & tea grounds as mulch.
The mulch worked wonders. The plant almost refused to ask for water! I would just spray a bit once every 10 days to 2 weeks! Should have tried this on the caulis. Could have prevented cabbage fly on one of them. Next time. Viewed: 1503 times. | |||||||||

| Tomato top view. Notice the mulch of coffee grounds and vegetable cuttings on the soil. The soil is about an inch or so below and after a few weeks of mulch it becomes spongy and remains amazingly moist. Just stick your finger and see!
Some white fungus/mold forms on the coffee grounds which is ugly to look at but didnt affect the growth of the plant or its fruit production. Viewed: 1971 times. | |||||||||
